Sian McNamara
Director & Principal

Sian McNamara

Sian was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2009 after completing her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Queensland. Since her admission, Sian has worked at multiple top-tier firms in Australia and in the United Kingdom.

Sian started Good Law QLD in April 2024 after seeing a need in the local community. With a focus on providing down-to-earth, practical, compassionate advice to clients, the team has grown quickly, primarily through word-of-mouth for the quality and excellence of her ability and client-centric focus.

Clo Gleeson

Fueled by an unwavering love for coffee (seriously, she might have beans in her DNA), she once believed her destiny was to be an athlete, but life had other plans. Now, instead of sprinting, she’s racing through property transactions with precision and flair. When she’s not conquering contracts, you’ll find her belting out tunes like a rockstar, because singing isn’t just a hobby, it’s her happy place.

Chloe Whereat

Chloe was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2020. Chloe is a mum to one, and a mum to one fur-baby (surprise, a cat). Despite loving cats, she somehow never comes to the office with cat fur on her clothes.

With a thoughtful and empathetic approach, Chloe guides individuals and families through some of life’s most personal and complex legal matters. As a Senior Associate specializing in succession planning and estates, she provides clear, calm advice that helps clients make informed decisions about their future and legacy. Whether planning ahead or managing the unexpected, clients value Chloe’s deep knowledge, practical insight, and her commitment to making the legal process feel less overwhelming.

She’s been here less than a year, but she’s tackling mutual recognition and Queensland law with the energy of someone who actually enjoys reading legislation. Consider her our resident legal explorer, charting the wild and wonderful world of Aussie law one statute at a time.

A proud Brit with her sights set on New York, she’s currently sharpening her legal mind at USC while curating a soundtrack and wardrobe worthy of a Vogue-meets-Supreme-Court crossover episode.

Born under the watchful eye of the silver fern, our receptionist brings a touch of Kiwi magic to the front desk. She’s part sunshine, part efficiency, and part “would you like a cuppa?” greeting every visitor with the kind of warmth that could melt a Wellington southerly.

And when it comes to efficiency, she’s a force of nature: keeping everything running so smoothly you’d think she has superpowers. Behind every well-organized day at our firm, there’s her magic touch (and probably a smile that makes the whole office brighter).

Legal Assistant

Zoe Nankivell

Zoe enjoys the variety her role brings at Good Law QLD. From supporting the conveyancing team with files and admin to meeting clients alongside our Wills & Estates team. She loves the opportunity to learn across different areas and appreciates the flexibility of her role.

Outside the office, Zoe is studying Business majoring in Marketing at UniSC. She also enjoys Pilates, running her small jewellery business, and spending time with her very cute golden retriever, Reggie.

Fresh off an 18-month stint in Texas, our trainee conveyancer approaches every file with the calm determination of someone who’s survived both Texan heat and Texan hospitality. She’s learning the ropes of conveyancing one property at a time (no lasso required).
